‘Easy-On-Site’ initiative from Expamet

Expamet Building Products is setting a new standard in product development and level of service with the launch of a new ‘Construction Division’.

The new division will consolidate some of the company’s most popular brands such as Hy-Rib, BAT masonry supports and the Power-Tie range of wall ties.

With a half million pound investment in new and upgraded machinery Expamet is introducing a range of new products including Windposts, and heavy duty, Type 1 wall ties.

After speaking to hundreds of end users, the company has introduced an ‘Easy-on-Site’ initiative, saving time and money for contractors whilst offering improved health and safety conditions for workers.

Component parts are now being etched with a part number, allowing for full inventory control and traceability. This number can also be cross referenced with an on-site grid layout, and products are packed using the site layout for easy and accurate
on-site distribution.

Investment in laser cutter tooling has also enabled the company to produce a wide range of new products, such as wind posts, with smoother metal edges and safer, rounded corners. Even the installation of masonry supports has been made easier by the addition of an integral soft joint piece of foam at the manufacturing stage.

Support will also be available both on and off-site from a Project Management Team with a wealth of construction and engineering experience. The team will handle projects from conception and it will be their responsibility to ensure a trouble free installation, with products supplied on site, on time and within budget.
