New additions to ‘Power-tie’ from Expamet

Since the launch of its new ‘Power-tie’ range earlier this year, Expamet has become a major force in this sector. Now with the addition of three new products, Stainless Steel Starter Screw-ins, V –drip Cavity Screw-ins and Flat Wire Ladder Reinforcement the ‘Power-tie’ brand is fast becoming the wall tie range to stock.

Stainless Steel Starter and V-drip Cavity Screw-ins provide quick and easy methods of securing new walls to existing walls, as they don’t have to be ‘built in’ at the time of construction. Perfect for renovations and supporting projects.

Providing a structurally sound support for cavity widths between 50– 100mm Expamet’s screw-ins are made from 1.4301, austenitic stainless steel and come complete with a masonry plug.

Starter Ties, are available in 130mm in packs of 10 or 100, whilst Cavity Ties range from 150mm – 225mm in boxes of 100.

Expamet has also introduced new, low profile, Flat Wire Ladder Reinforcement which has the advantage of taking up far less of the bed joint than traditional reinforcement, and compliments the company’s extensive wall tie range.

Also made from 1.4301 austenitic stainless steel, Expamet’s Flat Wire Ladder Reinforcement comes in 2700mm lengths for easy handling on site, has 500N/mm2 minimum tensile strength, conforms to BS5628-2 and is corrosion resistant.

Corner and T-shapes are also available and are competitively priced, in packs of 20 lengths.
