Birtley Group is delighted to announce three changes within the operations management team at the Gateshead site.
Rob Stonebanks has been promoted to Head of Operations – Structural Steel (Lintels and Galvanising). Rob, who joined the business in July 2021, was performing a dual role the previous six months when he oversaw operations for both Bowater Doors and Birtley Galvanising. Rob’s promotion effected in recognition of his achievements following the implementation of change management and delivering results.
Steven Dodd, who came on board in 1998, moves to a new role as Manufacturing Projects Manager where he will with a focus on productivity and efficiency improvements. Steve will also support the implementation of Epicor Enterprise Resource planning software within the business.
In acknowledgement of his success in progressing operations at Bowater Doors, Rob Crookston who has been with the firm since 2012, has been promoted to position of Production Manager – Doors.
